**Tagline:** A theme for coffee roasters who sell in several countries, built around a roast-colour photo that sorts your coffees.
Roast is made for speciality coffee roasters and other small food and drink brands that sell by taste and origin. The home page opens on one photo of six heaps of the same beans, from raw green to dark. Hover or tap a heap to light it up, read a short note on that roast, and watch the coffee grid below re-sort to the coffees you roast that way. A row of colour labels does the same on phones. The same photo returns as a roast filter strip on collection pages and as a "where this coffee sits" crop on each product page, and every product card carries a five-step roast bar.
International selling is part of the layout. A country and language panel opens from the header, the announcement bar and the footer, with search by country or currency and countries grouped by the markets you set up in the theme settings. A first-visit prompt uses the platform's localization suggestion to offer the visitor's own country, currency and delivery time. A delivery block on the home page, the cart and the product page shows where orders ship from, how many working days they take and how taxes are handled for the visitor's country, and a "Choose your country" page template lists every market you sell to. Prices always come from the platform in the visitor's currency.
Product pages show tasting notes, a roast scale, size and grind options with per-size prices, lot details from product metafields, an origin story with a quote, a brew recipe and related coffees. A sticky buy bar appears on phones. The collection page has the roast strip, filters (platform filters where your store has them, otherwise filters built from the coffees on the page), sorting and a "which roast for which brewer" tile you can edit.
Home page sections include the roast line, a featured lot, a four-method brew guide with recipes and steps, origin stories, a roastery band with figures, cafés that list the one nearest the visitor first, product grids, collection tiles, journal posts, FAQ, image banner, rich text and newsletter. The theme also includes a bag drawer with free-delivery progress, predictive search, saved items, account, sign-in with one-time codes, order tracking, a contact page template, a cookie banner, and coming soon, maintenance and password pages.
Roast ships with three styles (Roast, Night Roast and Daylight), five colour schemes, adjustable roast tones, self-hosted Newsreader, Geist and Geist Mono fonts, and translations in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian for both shopper text and editor labels. The demo store is Kilnworth Coffee Roasters, an invented roaster with seven coffees, a tasting set and brew gear.
